Job Description
Insurance Product Manager owning pet insurance products at Pets at Home. Driving compliant, profitable growth through propositions, analytics and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Own and optimise the performance of the pet insurance portfolio, balancing growth, profitability and customer value
- Lead the development and launch of new products, features and enhancements
- Use customer, market and competitor insights to shape innovative propositions
- Partner with Pricing and Underwriting teams to support portfolio performance and fair value outcomes
- Drive data-led decisions through trading reviews, performance analysis and customer feedback
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives from concept through to implementation
- Ensure products meet FCA requirements, Consumer Duty expectations and internal governance standards
Requirements:
- Proven product management experience within insurance, ideally personal lines or pet insurance
- Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering profitable growth
- Sound understanding of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty and product governance
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insight
- Experience influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional delivery
- A resilient, adaptable mindset and the confidence to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
