Job Description
Intake Manager overseeing and optimizing the intake process at AnswersNow, a company revolutionizing autism therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current intake procedures and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take ownership of the intake process from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Supervise and provide leadership to intake specialists, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
- Develop and implement standardized workflows for handling incoming requests, including prioritization and allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their intake-related needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of intake data and documentation.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the intake process and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to intake specialists to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Identify and leverage technology solutions to automate and streamline the intake process where possible.
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the intake process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Generate regular reports on intake process performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, with a focus on process improvement.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and payer requirements
- Proficiency with EHR systems and intake management platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in autism or behavioral health (preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM or referral management software (preferred)
