Job Description
Integrations Analyst supporting healthcare data interfaces, interoperability systems, and client implementations for HOPCo. Managing HL7, APIs, databases, validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and production integration support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical documentation for client interfaces, connections, data transforms, and related client areas
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings and follow up as necessary
- Participate in client and external-party integration kick-off and project calls
- Provide initial support for client connectivity and data issues
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and business partners during implementations and operational activities
- Perform data validation and testing for integration activities, upgrades, and infrastructure changes
- Generate client-, vendor-, and partner-facing reports and documentation
- Assist employees and contractors with system use, including developing training materials and tools
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
- Follow change-control procedures and resolve or troubleshoot system issues across multiple environments
- Participate in business-process analysis and design, training development, and deployment planning
- Coordinate project activities and deliverables across the organization
- Support multiple integrations across simultaneous projects while balancing priorities and timelines
- Maintain data-management and transfer stability, perform validations, resolve errors, and support business-processing requirements
- Coordinate application owners with integration development and support teams
- Provide product development teams with real-world feedback on architecture, features, and roadmaps
- Escalate concerns and issues proactively
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours production integration/application support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or another technical field
- 3+ years of clinical interface support, data management, database integrations, and data analysis experience
- 2+ years of experience with HL7, web services, XML, X12, 837/839, APIs, FHIR, SOAP, and JSON
- 3+ years of IT systems, networking, or infrastructure operations experience, including connectivity troubleshooting
- Understanding of HL7 interface engine technologies
- Working knowledge of web services, SFTP, SSH, HTTP, TCP, and related communication methods
- Knowledge of data normalization, including LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, and ICD-9
- Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or multiple database platforms
- Healthcare industry knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology
- Familiarity with EHR, HIS, PMS, HL7, HIE, and CDR technologies
- Familiarity with waterfall and agile project management methodologies
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services for databases and integrations
- Experience working with multiple clients and complex cross-environment data integrations
- Ability to work independently and as part of larger project teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Effective time management across operational and project-based activities
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and quality from disparate data sources
- Scripting experience with Java/JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Perl, Python, or PowerShell
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Data mappings and transformations experience
- Advanced SQL query skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power BI and other data visualization tools
- Ability to resolve complicated technical challenges
- Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams
