Job Description
Part-time CFD research intern studying hybrid mesh adaptation for hypersonic configurations at AMA. Exploring multifidelity models and aerothermodynamic analysis for NASA Langley research.
Responsibilities:
- Support research on Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis with Hybrid Mesh Adaptation for High-Speed Configurations at NASA Langley Research Center
- Explore multifidelity computational models with hybrid mesh adaptation for aerothermodynamic analysis
- Apply multifidelity computational models to relevant hypersonic configurations
- Contribute to research addressing aerothermal loads and fluid-thermal-structural interactions in high-speed flows
Requirements:
- Part-time internship
- At least a rudimentary understanding of computational fluid dynamics
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Matlab, Python, C/C++, or Fortran
- Prior experience running a large-scale CFD solver is a strong plus
- This position is only open to US Persons
