Job Description
Jewellery and antiques buyer valuing and purchasing unique collectibles at WeBuyVintage roadshows. Customer-facing role with negotiation, frequent travel, and UK roadshow events.
Responsibilities:
- Attend 3–4 roadshow events per week to value and purchase items from the public
- Travel to event locations, usually within a 2-hour drive of your location
- Provide a professional and friendly experience to every customer
- Make fair offers and negotiate where needed
- Work closely with fellow buyers as part of a team
- Use antiques and jewellery knowledge to identify value and make smart buying decisions
- Buy directly from members of the public across the UK
Requirements:
- Experience buying and/or selling antiques, jewellery, or similar items
- Strong interest in gold, jewellery, silver, cameras, toys, militaria, and other collectibles
- Confident negotiator with good commercial awareness
- Friendly, trustworthy, and confident with customers
- Professional and comfortable in a customer-facing role
- Willing to stay away overnight when required
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
- Willingness to travel up to 2 hours to roadshow venues
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of employment
- Visa sponsorship is not available
