Job Description
Junior Bookkeeper supporting Australian trades services businesses with bookkeeping and payroll functions. Providing quality service with on-the-job training available for successful applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliation
- Entering bills and managing accounts payable/receivable.
- Processing payroll
- Preparation of BAS and IAS
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience.
- Has done bookkeeping as a career, preferably with an Australian Bookkeeping firm, with multiple clients.
- Australian payroll experience required
- Understanding of Australian GST law, including preparation of business activity statements and income activity statements
- Process development skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have end-to-end experience in Xero
- Experience with Simpro or Employment Hero Payroll would be beneficial, but training will be provided on these
- Has the ability and willingness to learn new systems and tools
- High level of written English and verbal skills.
