Job Description
Junior Consultant DevOps & Cloud Engineer role at XAAS providing consulting for IT strategies and cloud architecture. Focus on building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the implementation and operation of automated CI/CD pipelines
- Advising on the design and implementation of scalable cloud and infrastructure architectures
- Introducing automation for deployments and infrastructure
- Developing integrations for monitoring, logging and security solutions
- Supporting colleagues in the service team by sharing knowledge
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or a very well completed vocational qualification
- Initial practical experience in a DevOps environment with a focus on multicloud
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI
- Familiarity with modern authentication methods (OAuth, OpenID, SAML)
- Programming experience in Python, Go or Java
- Ability to identify technical requirements and design solutions
- Confident communication in German (C2) and English (at least B2)
