Job Description

Júnior Engineering Analyst managing construction projects and approvals at Método Grupo. Responsible for technical processes and liaison with public agencies and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical and legal approval processes with utility providers and authorities (electricity, water/sewer, gas, telecommunications), fire department and municipal authorities;
  • Monitor review timeframes, respond to technical requirements and ensure formal clearances;
  • Maintain direct interface with public bodies, notary/public registry offices, utility providers and designers;
  • Ensure all construction works commence only after the required approvals are obtained;
  • Manage and supervise all construction phases: foundations, structure, building systems, HVAC, finishes and final delivery to the client — nationwide;
  • Monitor and control detailed schedules, tracking deviations, conducting risk analysis and proposing corrective action plans;
  • Conduct periodic technical inspections and issue photographic and technical reports documenting non-conformities, physical progress and outstanding items;
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring organization of drawings, contracts, measurements/progress records, meeting minutes and field logs;
  • Control deadlines, costs and quality, ensuring compliance with the contracted scope and delivery according to the approved plan;
  • Actively interface with internal areas (engineering, procurement and planning) to ensure smooth approvals and decision-making;
  • Apply Lean Construction planning methodologies, focusing on productivity, waste reduction and execution efficiency;
  • Coordinate suppliers and contractors, ensuring integration among providers;
  • Participate in on-site and remote meetings with clients, designers and contractors to ensure technical and strategic alignment;
  • Ensure good construction practices, occupational safety and quality of execution in accordance with ABNT standards and applicable NR regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Experience with approvals from utility providers and construction project management;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Availability to work outside regular business hours and to travel as required;
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit for project visualization;
  • Advantage: valid driver's license (CNH);
  • Experience managing construction projects in the retail sector.
