Job Description
Hungarian language specialist translating English content for RWS Group’s global language solutions. Ensuring accurate, culturally sensitive translations through quality checks and terminology research.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents, texts, and materials from English into Hungarian while preserving meaning, style, and tone
- Adapt translations to specific industries or subject matter while maintaining precision and fluency
- Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to meet client expectations
- Research industry-specific terminology and jargon
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and subject matter experts to clarify context and resolve queries
- Apply cultural awareness to ensure translations are contextually appropriate and culturally sensitive
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience in translation, particularly from English to Hungarian
- Deep understanding of industry-specific terminology and subject matter expertise highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to linguistic and cultural differences
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
