Job Description
Lead Architect at Tempo guiding product architecture and AI strategy for an award-winning productivity software suite.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee highly scalable, secure systems using Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and AWS-native patterns.
- Architect and implement best practices for embedding AI functionality into our products.
- Act as the champion for Claude Code.
- Master the Atlassian Forge platform.
- Partner with the VP of Engineering to align technical roadmaps with operational goals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in software engineering
- 3+ years in a dedicated Lead Architect role for large-scale SaaS environments.
- Proven experience building on Atlassian Forge and/or Connect
- Professional-level mastery of AWS
- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin, Java (JVM), and Node.js
- Expert-level understanding of React.
- Proven ability to build AI-driven features into products.
- Expert knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, message brokers (Kafka/SNS/SQS), and distributed systems.
