Job Description

Lead Services Specialist managing automated NDE inspections at nuclear power plants worldwide. Providing technical direction and overseeing inspection teams during refueling outages.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the GEH inspection teams.
  • Review and analyze automated and manual data with the utmost integrity and strict procedure use and adherence.
  • Providing technical justification to customers, and regularly interfacing with site Level III's.
  • Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking to make calls based on best judgement.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in automated NDE as a Data Analyst
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to domestically and internationally plant sites
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb 10 flights of stairs twice per day
  • Ability to pass respirator fit test and physical
  • Ability to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain unescorted access
  • Ability to work under high stress conditions
  • Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas
  • Ability and willingness to work 12 hrs./day and 7 days/week when needed for project delivery
