Job Description
Lead Product Architect shaping Microsoft technology products at HSO Studio. Aligning architecture, backlogs, releases, and cross-product dependencies for business transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions across multiple products within a domain
- Safeguard functional and technical feasibility, integrity, and quality of product scope
- Partner with the Product Manager on product vision, strategy, customer and market needs, and roadmap
- Contribute to product vision and roadmap using functional and technical expertise, product feedback, and emerging technology insights
- Document functional and technical requirements, solution designs, architectural principles, and technical decisions
- Validate technical feasibility, performance impact, scalability, and product integrity with the lead developer
- Align technical design with user experience, persona-based user stories, business requirements, and product strategy
- Apply Studio’s AI technology, processes, and ways of working with the product team
- Own and manage the product backlog, translating roadmap initiatives into epics and actionable work items
- Work with development teams to design, build, test, and release products against the prioritised backlog and defined architecture
- Facilitate development team ceremonies, support delivery cadence, and track progress against work items and release schedules
- Ensure development teams understand objectives, customer-driven requirements, and expected outcomes
- Coordinate the product development lifecycle for timely, high-quality implementation
- Manage implementation quality, testing outcomes, documentation, release notes, and complex Level 4 support topics
- Maintain architectural consistency across products, patterns, integrations, and technical decisions
- Identify cross-product dependencies, assess feature impacts, and mitigate architectural risks
- Coordinate domain-level release planning across products and proactively resolve cross-product risks and blockers
- Facilitate alignment between Product Architects, clarify ownership and responsibilities, and support complex decision-making
- Act as a trusted sparring partner for complex functional and technical matters across the domain
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Relevant experience as a Product Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role within a product development environment
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform
- Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methods, including user-experience-focused product design frameworks
- Strong business and technical acumen, translating business requirements into functional designs and technical specifications
- Experience managing product lifecycles, backlogs, work plans, releases, and prioritised support requests
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to align architecture, dependencies, release planning, and risks across multiple products within a domain
- Curiosity and proactivity in exploring AI and modern technologies
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to translate technological developments into business value
