Job Description

Legal Architect guiding US mid-market law firms in adopting Clio’s AI-powered legal platform. Designing demonstrations, pilots, and workflows that improve legal research, drafting, analysis, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead discovery sessions with mid-sized law firms and uncover business goals and operational pain points
  • Design and deliver tailored, live demonstrations of the Clio platform
  • Navigate technical, emotional, and ethical objections during presentations
  • Articulate Clio’s AI vision and help firms safely adopt automation for drafting, research, document analysis, and administrative efficiency
  • Design and run high-impact trials and pilots for strategic law firm accounts
  • Define desired outcomes, practice areas, and legal tasks for pilots
  • Ensure successful engagement, adoption, and measurable results
  • Convert attorneys’ complex needs into workflows in Clio
  • Translate lawyer insights into actionable user stories for Product and influence the platform roadmap
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement on messaging and content
  • Create content showcasing real-world AI success stories for legal audiences
  • Mentor Sales and Customer Success colleagues through internal training
  • Drive thought leadership on AI trends and legal technology innovation
  • Represent Clio as a credible voice in the evolving legal AI landscape

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree
  • 2+ years of legal practice experience at a US mid-sized law firm
  • First-hand understanding of firm economics, document lifecycles, and client communication nuances
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • High EQ and ability to command a room of senior legal stakeholders
  • Active listening and ability to distill sophisticated technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives
  • Problem-solving ability and curiosity for deconstructing messy processes into efficient, tech-driven solutions
  • Experience with or interest in legal AI solutions, legal practice management (LPM), document automation, and/or legal research platforms
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and creativity is valued
  • Passion for legal tech and its impact on the legal services industry
