Job Description
Legal Research Intern in a remote role providing support and conducting legal research for customers. Aimed at 1L, 2L, or 3L law students seeking summer internship experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and provide solutions to customers via Live Support chat.
- Maintain confidentiality and the sensitivity of information from customer conversations.
- Manage multiple conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Understand customer pain points and provide an effortless customer experience.
- Use scripted messages appropriately and timely.
- Create meaningful connections with customers and offer additional products or services when applicable.
Requirements:
- Be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Juris Doctorate program.
- 1L, 2L, or 3L law students are eligible for the internship.
- Possess excellent typing skills with a minimum of 40 wpm and 85% accuracy.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a rapidly moving setting.
- Be empathetic and understanding of customer needs.
- Demonstrate excellent business acumen and be able to offer value-added services to customers.
- Be detail-oriented and able to pay close attention to accuracy and quality of work.
- Be self-driven and open to receiving and applying constructive feedback.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and share ideas clearly.
