Job Description

Life and Annuity Sales Manager building a traditional insurance line for Medicaid-compliant annuity wholesaler Krause Agency. Recruiting agents, producing cases, and expanding distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive personal production in traditional life and annuity products, including whole life, term, universal life, fixed annuities, and indexed annuities
  • Serve clients primarily in the 55 to 70 age range with income planning, protection, and legacy needs
  • Recruit, activate, and develop independent agent and agency relationships in the life and annuity space
  • Bring new producers into the Krause distribution channel
  • Build and execute a strategy for growing traditional life and annuity production across the Krause Agency agent base
  • Deliver training, webinars, and educational content to existing and newly activated agents
  • Provide joint field support and point-of-sale assistance to agents working life and annuity cases
  • Identify gaps in the current product and carrier mix and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with the broader Krause team so agents across product lines can access life and annuity solutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of carrier products, market trends, and regulatory developments

Requirements:

  • Active life and health insurance license
  • Meaningful experience in life insurance and/or annuity sales, distribution, or wholesaling
  • Track record of personal production or a clear, credible path to building a personal book of business
  • Ability to work independently and build without a roadmap or established infrastructure
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across one-on-one, small group, and virtual formats
  • Preferred background in brokerage distribution, IMO, BGA, or wholesaling
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, or developing independent producers
  • Familiarity with fixed and indexed annuity products and the senior market client profile
  • Professional designations such as CLU, ChFC, RICP, or equivalent
