Job Description
Lift Engineer servicing, repairing, and maintaining lifts across Newcastle and surrounding areas. Supporting Stannah’s manufacturing and engineering business through safe, reliable access equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
- Cover a route across Newcastle and surrounding areas
- Service lifts, perform fault finding, and maintain safe day-to-day operation
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Attend breakdowns and callouts
- Diagnose faults and restore lifts to operation
- Keep sites safe and compliant
- Complete site logs and basic paperwork
- Work across commercial, residential, and public sites within an allocated area
- Receive support from the local team when needed
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working as a lift engineer in service and repair
- Full UK driving licence
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
