Job Description
Consultant for Load Management at ICF, supporting utility and energy flexible programs. Responsibilities include project coordination, analysis, and client interaction in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and collaborate with multi-functional project teams
- Contribute to the overall success of utility flexible load management projects
- Successfully communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Interface with clients on key issues related to deliverables
- Support business development activities through research and development of collateral
- Develop an understanding of offerings and help implement standardized approaches
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, economics, public policy, data science, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience supporting utility, energy, or related clients
- Experience supporting utility or energy clients in DSM, demand response, flexible load management, beneficial electrification, or distributed energy resources
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Familiarity with DER technologies (heat pumps, water heating, storage, EV/managed charging, DR enablement)
- Demonstrated project and resource management
