Job Description

Consultant for Load Management at ICF, supporting utility and energy flexible programs. Responsibilities include project coordination, analysis, and client interaction in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with multi-functional project teams
  • Contribute to the overall success of utility flexible load management projects
  • Successfully communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface with clients on key issues related to deliverables
  • Support business development activities through research and development of collateral
  • Develop an understanding of offerings and help implement standardized approaches

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, economics, public policy, data science, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience supporting utility, energy, or related clients
  • Experience supporting utility or energy clients in DSM, demand response, flexible load management, beneficial electrification, or distributed energy resources
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with DER technologies (heat pumps, water heating, storage, EV/managed charging, DR enablement)
  • Demonstrated project and resource management
