Job Description
Logistics Analyst supporting F-35 inventory accountability and audit readiness for U.S. defense programs. Traveling extensively to conduct inventories, analyze lost property, and prepare site reports.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to various F-35 locations across the world to conduct wall-to-wall inventories and/or existence and completeness sampling
- Prepare reports articulating findings from inventories and site visits
- Conduct research and transact in the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) to ensure inventory accuracy
- Apply supply policies and procedures, DoD property accounting, inventory control, storage, warehouse control, material handling, and supply accounting practices
- Prepare and maintain documentation and records associated with inventory actions
- Assist in disposal of assets at the direction of the F-35 JPO team
- Provide support and analysis of lost property, including investigative research
- Interact with site employees to understand internal inventory locations
- Participate in site-specific meetings supporting progress to plan
- Keep project leadership informed of issues affecting contract deliverables or client mission accomplishment
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and on-the-job safety requirements
- Contribute to process improvements
- Analyze reports and records, report inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions
- Compute and accumulate data for analysis
Requirements:
- Experience in a DoD or commercial warehouse environment, including inventories of on-hand assets
- Five years of experience in DoD or commercial services logistics, supply, and physical material inventory procedures
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be in good physical condition and able to travel
- Must have a valid state-issued vehicle operator’s license
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
