Job Description
Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst maintaining hospital revenue charges, coding compliance, and EPIC work queues. Supporting financial analysis and identifying root causes of revenue edits at Cottage Health.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, analyze, standardize, and model revenue charges
- Provide reference material and charge compliance education
- Assist with financial planning and analysis
- Clear revenue integrity-related work queues in EPIC
- Identify trends related to the root cause of edits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience or two years of work experience per one year of required education
- Minimum coding certification: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
- Minimum 5 years of Hospital/Health Care Coding experience
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of billing requirements related to charges and associated claim forms
- Knowledge of cost accounting concepts, principles, and computer applications
- Preferred: Registered Nurse, RHIA, Epic Certification in Resolute Charge Capture and/or Clarity Report Data, or AAHAM Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (CRIP)
- Preferred: experience with electronic medical records and clinical application software
- Preferred: 3 additional years of Hospital/Health Care Billing or Clinical experience
