Job Description
Freelance Interpreter working with bilingual individuals to bridge communication gaps. Manage your schedule and assignments as an independent contractor with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Connect bilingual and multilingual individuals as freelance interpreters.
- Set your own schedule and accept appointments that suit you.
- Work primarily Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm when appointments are available.
- Act as an independent contractor managing your responsibilities and client interactions.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and target language with a comprehensive understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns.
- Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
- Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate basic communication
- Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments.
- Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship).
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.
