Job Description
Medical interpreters facilitating Karen-English communication for INTELEX, a global language services provider. Providing accurate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely medical interpretation between patients and healthcare providers
- Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- Ensure proper use of medical terminology
- Facilitate clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months- 3 years of professional interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
- Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments
- High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
- Professional, HIPAA compliant Setup
- Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
- At least 10Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
- Fluent in Karen and English
