Job Description
Manager, Scrum Master at CVS Health, simplifying healthcare through agile delivery and team coaching. Driving Scrum processes, capacity planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out and facilitate Scrum events
- Remove impediments and promote collaboration
- Support the Product Owner and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure effective implementation of the Scrum framework
- Create an environment conducive to team success and foster collaboration and continuous learning
- Coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile principles, values, and best practices for project/product management
- Develop budgets and resource planning strategies using team velocity, historical data, and limitations
- Determine the amount of work that can be completed within proposed project timelines
- Ensure risk assessments include risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans
- Establish Scrum processes and procedures for backlog management, prioritization, and user story refinement
- Forecast team capacity and delivery potential for future projects
- Help establish and implement a common language and framework for team collaboration
- Improve team capacity and investigate bottlenecks to proactively address issues
- Integrate adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into department processes
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of work experience
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at a growth mindset, agility, and developing yourself and others
- Adept at execution and delivery, including planning, delivering, and supporting
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred
- Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification preferred
