Job Description
Managing Director in Medical Affairs Consulting at Red Nucleus, focusing on strategy and leadership in the life sciences. Driving business growth and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Director for Medical Affairs Consulting focusing on growing strategy consulting services
- Design, develop, and implement solutions to drive success for clients
- Secure and lead a $3 million annual book of business and exceed revenue targets
- Generate thought leadership to capitalize on industry trends
- Develop and maintain a high performing global team
- Lead firm-building initiatives and collaborate in strategic business planning activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences or business-related fields; Advanced degree in the Life Sciences, and/or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in management consulting, advisory and/or strategy and change management specifically for Life Sciences
- A strong history of successfully selling, delivering and growing consulting revenues with a track record of sourced sales exceeding at least $3 million in the previous 2-3 years
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Medical Affairs and Strategy
- Executive presence
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to leverage external network to improve market positioning
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities
- Ability to lead client work and accounts
- Ability to attract, retain, mentor and grow team members
- Ability to become a trusted partner to all levels of clients (from Director to c-suite)
- Must have a collaborative and team-based mind-set
- Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, (demonstrated expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
