Job Description

Detail-oriented Manual QA Tester ensuring quality of websites and landing pages for consumer brand. Focused on manual testing with no coding or automation required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually test websites and landing pages after product launches or updates
  • Click through pages, links, buttons, forms, and checkout flows
  • Validate page layouts, spacing, fonts, and visuals across devices
  • Ensure content displays correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Identify visual issues, broken elements, missing content, or incorrect behavior
  • Take clear screenshots and screen recordings of issues
  • Write clear, concise descriptions of what’s wrong and how to reproduce it
  • Organize and track issues in shared documents or task tools
  • Test pages from a customer’s perspective
  • Confirm navigation is intuitive and consistent
  • Check that CTAs, pricing, and product information are accurate
  • Validate forms, sign-ups, and basic functionality
  • Re-test previously fixed issues to confirm they are resolved
  • Ensure new changes do not break existing pages or features

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail (this is critical)
  • Excellent written English (clear documentation is essential)
  • Comfortable working independently and following checklists
  • Ability to stay focused while doing repetitive testing tasks
  • Familiarity with websites, landing pages, and online forms
  • Comfortable taking screenshots, screen recordings, and notes
  • Prior experience in Manual QA, website testing, or content review (Nice to Have)
  • Experience testing e-commerce or consumer-facing websites (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Notion, Trello, Jira, or similar (Nice to Have)
  • Basic understanding of how websites are structured (no coding required) (Nice to Have)
