Job Description

Marketing Analyst optimizing web analytics, advertising, and campaign measurement for ACT’s education assessments. Building dashboards and recommending improvements to D2L marketing performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze web traffic and campaign performance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports for ongoing and ad-hoc requests
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to establish campaign tracking goals and KPIs
  • Translate stakeholder needs into digital measurement solutions
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing performance and surface opportunities
  • Learn and contribute to web measurement, tracking setup, user flows, GA4, and GTM
  • Contribute to analysis, regular reporting, and ad-hoc requests
  • Contribute to media planning and optimization and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to define problems, update measurement, and develop recommendations
  • Lead analytics projects and address larger questions related to user behavior and marketing performance
  • Speak to D2L marketing goals and opportunities, the funnel, and digital strategy
  • Identify opportunities and pursue self-directed analytics projects
  • Contribute to strategy development for the D2L market

Requirements:

  • Marketing Analyst I: At least 1 year of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising
  • Marketing Analyst II: At least 3 years of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with tagging and management systems such as Google Tag Manager
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with analysis and presentation tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, or Tableau
  • Ability to organize data across sources and manage multiple data sets
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and advertising metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Informatics, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
  • Experience with web optimization and tools such as VWO or Adobe Target is a plus
  • Basic familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouse is a plus
  • Familiarity with LLM tools such as Claude, ChatCPT, or Gemini and implementing tools in workflows is a plus
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship
  • Finalists will be subject to a criminal background check
  • Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended
