Job Description

Marketing Data Analyst II analyzing web and marketing performance for Team Velocity, an automotive full-service marketing agency. Building dashboards, tracking strategies, and A/B tests to drive client and product decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Build and iterate dashboards to help stakeholders monitor KPIs
  • Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance to generate actionable insights
  • Troubleshoot tracking and data collection issues
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives supporting product and marketing decisions
  • Lead A/B test planning, execution, and post-test analysis
  • Monitor performance metrics and set up alerts for key anomalies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand goals and translate them into measurement plans
  • Mentor junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical approaches
  • Report directly to the Director of Analytics
  • Work alongside a junior analyst

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business or related field, required
  • 3+ years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics, required
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, required
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems, required
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, required
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting tracking issues, debugging, and QA
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY, highly preferred
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools such as Google Optimize or Optimizely, highly preferred
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or Google App Script, a plus
  • Employee must be located within the Continental U.S.
  • Eastern or Central time zone highly preferred
