Job Description
Marketing Specialist creating localized content, campaigns, and partnerships for Expatrio’s platform serving students and professionals moving to Germany. Managing WeChat, Xiaohongshu, KOLs, livestreams, and paid media.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and create localized content for WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and other digital channels
- Respond to user inquiries and comments
- Own KOL outreach and collaboration, including identifying creators and coordinating partnerships
- Support community engagement and referral initiatives
- Coordinate livestreams, online/offline events, and partner activities end to end
- Prepare marketing materials, coordinate resources, and deliver events
- Support campaign execution across Xiaohongshu and Baidu, including ad creatives and content coordination
- Produce localized marketing assets and website content aligned with global brand guidelines
- Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as needed
- Work closely with the China Marketing Lead and global marketing team
- Support Expatrio's digital platform for international students and professionals moving to Germany
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and content creation
- Strong copywriting skills for WeChat and Xiaohongshu
- Hands-on campaign, livestream, or event execution experience
- Hands-on experience in KOL outreach and collaboration
- Basic knowledge of Baidu Ads and Xiaohongshu Ads
- Proficiency in Canva, Xiumi (秀米), and Google Workspace
- Strong project coordination, ownership, and execution skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Experience in an international/cross-cultural environment
- Bachelor's degree required
- Shanghai-based preferred
- Overseas study/work experience preferred
- Community or event marketing experience preferred
- Experience working with international brands or products preferred
- CV and 3–5 relevant work samples/portfolio required for application
