Job Description
Limited Master's Social Worker providing telehealth, evidence-based mental health care for Thriveworks clients in Michigan. Building caseloads and treating diverse clients through a clinician-led behavioral health company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth sessions to clients in Michigan
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care
- Treat a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Help clients achieve measurable progress
- Conduct intakes and diagnose according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
- Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing
- Collaborate within a clinical community
- Participate in clinical supervision and monthly case consultations
Requirements:
- Approved by the board as a LLMSW
- Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Michigan
- Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor preferred
- Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
- Open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress
- Confident working with telehealth and EHR tools
- Ability to work as a W2 employee
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
- Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
