Job Description
Sales Manager leading the MR team in Bulgaria for a renowned company focused on eye health. Responsible for developing sales strategies and fostering client relationships while mentoring the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, action plans, and sales forecasts for Bulgaria
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and potential areas for growth
- Set sales targets and closely monitor the performance of the sales team
- Work in close collaboration with Country Manager and Commercial Operations Manager to improve Commercial Excellence parameters and to suggest changes if needed
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders in the ophthalmic field
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns and product launches
- Manage the sales budget effectively to optimize resource allocation and achieve desired sales outcomes
- Prepare regular sales reports and present updates to senior management, highlighting sales performance, market trends, and key insights
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in pharmaceutical sales
- Previous experience in sales management (of at least 2 years), including leading and motivating sales teams
- Previous experience in the ophthalmic field would be an asset
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment in Bulgaria
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and local language (Bulgarian)
