Job Description
Network Team Manager leading infrastructure design, operations, and client projects at NetCov, an IT and cybersecurity solutions provider. Mentoring engineers while optimizing network performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network strategies aligned with business objectives
- Design and oversee implementation of complex network architectures
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to network infrastructure
- Lead, mentor, and develop network engineers and specialists
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs
- Serve as primary point of contact for high-profile client projects
- Build relationships with new clients during projects
- Collaborate with account managers on post-deployment handoff
- Address escalations and resolve complex project issues
- Oversee planning and execution of client projects
- Develop timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets
- Coordinate resources and expertise with other departments
- Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies
- Troubleshoot complex network issues
- Establish and track KPIs for network operations and the infrastructure team
- Implement data-driven processes to improve team efficiency
- Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to SLAs
- Drive continuous improvement in team performance and client satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- At least 3 years of experience in a management role
- Strong technical knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and operating systems
- Proven experience managing cloud migration projects
- Excellent understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
- Strong project management skills and experience with methodologies such as ITIL and Agile
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
- Relevant certifications
