Job Description
Supplier Engineer for New Product Introduction within the Supplier Assurance organization at RTX. Engaging with suppliers for technical evaluations and performance improvements in defense and aerospace.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
- Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
- Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
- Drive root cause and corrective action
- Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
- Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
- Support travel as needed, minimum 50%
Requirements:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Relevant experience in technical supplier management, supplier engineering, industrial engineering or quality engineering
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
