Job Description
Nurse Practitioner virtually leading registered nurses across residential aged-care homes for Amplar Health. Improving care quality, staff capability, and resident healthcare experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of registered nurses virtually
- Support up to 10 residential aged care homes
- Act as an extension of care teams by providing guidance and boosting staff confidence
- Ensure safe, consistent, dignified, and high-quality care for residents
- Get to know residents, families, and each home's unique needs
- Drive improvements in healthcare delivery
- Empower local staff and enhance their competence
- Communicate effectively with consumers and care team members
Requirements:
- Newly Qualified Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent nursing experience
- Bachelor of Nursing degree
- Masters of advanced nursing practice
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement
- Proven experience managing teams
- Comfortable with virtual communication
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong nursing assessment abilities focused on delivering quality care
- Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems, phone, video, and audio platforms
- Formal qualifications or experience within Aged Care highly desirable
