Job Description

Online Radiologic Technology Instructor teaching and advising aspiring radiologic technologists at Pima Medical Institute. Supporting ARRT preparation, student retention, curriculum quality, and academic success remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging and effective online learning for a full teaching load of 24 credits per semester or approximately 100 students per class sequence
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments
  • Support students struggling with course material
  • Maintain a student success rate of 70% or higher across all courses
  • Identify and contact students who are falling behind via phone and email
  • Assist with ARRT exam preparation, including tutoring and support for recent graduates
  • Advise students on academic progress, course participation, and success strategies
  • Collaborate with program leadership on curriculum reviews, updates, and program goals
  • Attend and contribute to program advisory board and faculty meetings
  • Prepare and submit final grades according to the academic calendar

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree, professional degree (e.g., JD, MD), or a Baccalaureate degree with a professional certification from a nationally recognized accrediting agency
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences or an equivalent unrestricted state license
  • Any required state teaching licenses
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a registered radiologic technologist
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video-conferencing platforms
  • ARRT-registered professional
  • Prior experience with online instruction and Learning Management Systems preferred
