Job Description
Oracle EBS consultant supporting implementation, configuration, testing, and AMS engagements. Troubleshooting production issues and collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support Oracle E-Business Suite implementation and Application Managed Services (AMS) engagements
- Understand business requirements, analyze business processes and gaps, and recommend Oracle EBS solutions
- Design and configure Oracle EBS modules based on approved designs
- Support the lifecycle from requirements and configuration through testing, deployment, production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement
- Work with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, data fixes, migrations, and enhancements
- Review functional and technical specifications
- Prepare functional and configuration documentation
- Participate in testing and UAT
- Support data validation and reconciliation
- Conduct user training
- Work directly with clients, business stakeholders, and business users
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate closely with functional and technical teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant Oracle EBS Functional experience
- Should be based out of nearshore (US) location like Mexico, LATAM, or Argentina
- Experience with Oracle EBS implementation and/or AMS projects
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS configuration, setup, and maintenance
- Strong understanding of business processes relevant to the candidate's functional specialization
- Ability to analyze functional issues and identify whether the root cause is related to configuration, data, process, customization, or integration
- Experience with SQL / PL-SQL or similar querying and reporting tools
- Experience working with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, and data corrections
- Experience with data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data-quality activities
- Experience with incident, change, and problem management in AMS environments
- Strong experience in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work directly with clients and business users
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least one Oracle EBS functional area: Source to Pay (S2P), Human Resources / HRMS, or Projects / Project-to-Report
