Job Description
Remote part-time law fellow supporting West Virginia University’s Land Redevelopment Initiative. Providing applicant assistance, project documentation, and program reporting for demolition projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to applicants and potential applicants in submitting successful applications
- Provide technical assistance during implementation of the Land Redevelopment Initiative program
- Assist with successfully completing demolition projects for the Land Redevelopment Initiative program
- Document findings in Excel and other reporting formats
- Contribute to periodic reports describing the Clinic’s activities regarding the Land Redevelopment Initiative program
Requirements:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in Google platforms, including Google Docs and Zoom
- Strong ability to multitask multiple projects
- Ability to write effectively
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines
- Prior experience working in a real estate office preferred
