Job Description

Pediatric Outpatient Telehealth Dietitian providing high quality medical nutrition therapy and education. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team while supporting patients' nutritional needs remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality medical nutrition therapy to patients and clients
  • Assessment of nutritional needs, provision of medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education
  • Function on a multi-disciplinary team as a resource to the physician staff and others
  • May participate in community service by providing nutrition education to various groups or individuals outside the hospital

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area
  • Master's required if registration was obtained after Jan 1, 2024
  • Registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
  • CPR Certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the registered dietitian exam administered by the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
