Job Description
Pediatric Outpatient Telehealth Dietitian providing high quality medical nutrition therapy and education. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team while supporting patients' nutritional needs remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality medical nutrition therapy to patients and clients
- Assessment of nutritional needs, provision of medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education
- Function on a multi-disciplinary team as a resource to the physician staff and others
- May participate in community service by providing nutrition education to various groups or individuals outside the hospital
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area
- Master's required if registration was obtained after Jan 1, 2024
- Registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- CPR Certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtained within six (6) months of hire
- Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the registered dietitian exam administered by the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Effective oral and written communication skills
