Job Description
Board-certified neurologist delivering remote stroke evaluations, consultations, and inpatient rounding through Mercy Virtual. Serving patients across Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities:
- Provide neurological services remotely through Mercy Virtual’s virtual Stroke and Neurology program
- Perform acute stroke evaluations for patients within the TNK window and embolectomy window
- Provide stroke consults for patients outside of the 24 hr treatment window
- Provide general neurology consults, both acute and routine
- Provide neurology inpatient rounding service for select facilities
- Round daily on assigned patients at designated locations
- Collaborate in Mercy Virtual’s virtual care program serving patients across Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma
Requirements:
- Experienced Board Eligible/Board-Certified Neurologist
- Position requires at least two hours of bedside experience
- Opportunity for full time (14 hour shifts per month)
Benefits:
- Position can be fully remote, with equipment and training provided
- No night shift responsibilities
- After 6 months provider is eligible for additional incentive pay based on meeting set criteria
