Job Description

Remote Pilot Specialist supporting advanced drone operations in Finland and Europe on a freelance basis. Responsible for complex missions, operational planning, and ensuring safe drone operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support growing Drone Services operations across Finland and Europe on a freelance basis.
  • Take ownership of complex missions and contribute to operational planning.
  • Support the safe delivery of advanced drone operations across various environments.
  • Operate cutting-edge drone platforms for logistics, inspections, surveillance, emergency response, and maritime operations.
  • Conduct drone deliveries, support infrastructure inspections, assist with environmental monitoring, and establish new flight operations.
  • Support mission planning, operational documentation, risk assessments, and training activities remotely.

Requirements:

  • Certified Remote Pilot with relevant EU drone qualifications and permissions.
  • Proven commercial, defence, public safety, or industrial drone operations experience.
  • Demonstrated BVLOS operational experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of drone systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational planning.
  • Experience developing Concept of Operations (ConOps), risk assessments, and operational procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of aviation safety principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working independently and representing Skyports professionally with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Finland and internationally when required.
