Job Description
PMO Manager building governance and leading procurement transformation programs at Sandisk, a global flash-memory and data-storage company. Managing portfolio visibility, tools, savings, and cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and lead a formal Project Management Office within Procurement & Logistics
- Establish scalable governance, standardized execution discipline, and portfolio visibility
- Design and implement a centralized PMO structure for the global operating model
- Standardize PMO governance tools, including project charters, business cases, milestone trackers, issue and risk logs, RACI matrices, playbooks, and executive dashboards
- Develop a PMO maturity roadmap focused on adoption, continuous improvement, automation, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Lead high-impact procurement programs from concept through delivery
- Establish governance models, steering forums, escalation pathways, and executive portfolio reviews
- Own portfolio prioritization, resource planning, capacity visibility, and governance across procurement initiatives
- Validate business cases, savings assumptions, benefits tracking, and realized value with functional partners
- Lead adoption and administration of Smartsheet, Power BI, Visio, and Microsoft Project
- Develop executive dashboards, status updates, KPIs, and value realization metrics
- Collaborate with Digital Procurement and IT on integrated tools, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities
- Drive adoption of standardized PMO practices through stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and onboarding
- Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and support initiative owners and GCMs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, procurement transformation, or operations governance within a global enterprise
- Demonstrated success building and operating PMOs or similar governance frameworks in procurement, manufacturing, or operational functions
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Power BI
- Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a matrixed, cross-cultural environment preferred
- Procurement experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry preferred
- Demonstrated adoption and use of AI enablement technologies preferred
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Flexible evening availability may be required
- Ability to travel to China, Malaysia, India, Israel, and Milpitas, California without restrictions
