Job Description

Principal Full Stack Developer at Cosuno, driving technical vision and mentoring engineers. Join a fast-growing tech startup revolutionizing the construction industry through technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the technical vision and architecture for our core product, working closely with our ML team to integrate new AI features.
  • Leading the design and execution of large-scale technical projects, such as evolving our monorepo strategy or migrating a core service to a new architecture.
  • Mentoring other senior engineers, elevating the team's skills through code reviews, architectural guidance, and establishing best practices.
  • Partnering with product and engineering leadership to identify and de-risk technical challenges in the product roadmap for the next 1-2 years.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in software engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, scalable web applications.
  • Deep, system-level expertise in our core technologies (TypeScript, Node.js, React) and the ability to reason about the entire stack, from the database to the browser.
  • A history of leading complex technical projects and making critical architectural decisions.
  • A passion for mentoring and technical leadership. You find joy in helping other engineers grow and in elevating the technical bar for the whole team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive salary above the market average.
  • Work-Life Balance: Choose to work 100% remotely or from our modern office in Berlin. We offer flexible working hours to fit your life.
  • Top-Notch Equipment: A new MacBook Pro to ensure you have the best tools for the job.
  • A Great Team: Regular company off-sites and team events that connect us as people, not just colleagues.
  • Job Security: A permanent contract in a stable, well-funded company.
