Job Description
Principal Product Manager defining and driving product vision for Zillow's internal platform offerings. Collaborating with teams to deliver impactful solutions for developer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision and strategy for internal platform offerings
- Own the strategic direction and vision for Platform Engineering
- Drive the end-to-end platform product roadmap
- Build deep empathy for internal developer customers
- Lead product rollouts and enablement to drive adoption
- Partner with organizations to ensure platform strategy aligns with shared requirements
- Actively evangelize Platform Engineering best practices across Zillow
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally building large-scale internal platforms or developer-facing products
- Proven ability to use data and insights to navigate ambiguous problem spaces
- Track record of delivering complex, cross-team initiatives
- Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with engineers
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end developer journey and platform capabilities
- Solid grasp of the cloud-native ecosystem and modern cloud architectures
- Curiosity about emerging trends in AI-native engineering and software development
