Job Description

Procurement Manager leading supplier consolidation, onboarding, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives for Avery Dennison’s global materials science business. Supporting procurement across Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead country procurement efforts to maximize supplier value and meet company objectives
  • Provide procurement support across EU sites, specifically Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, and France
  • Establish procurement foundations and optimize supplier relationships
  • Consolidate the supplier base and standardize procurement processes
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers
  • Lead commercial and contract negotiations with key vendors
  • Secure optimal pricing, favorable payment terms, and strong contractual commitments
  • Identify and capture procurement-driven growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business and operational needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven professional experience in procurement management, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
  • Experience within an international matrix environment
  • Strong background in supplier base consolidation, contract negotiations, and cost-reduction strategies
  • Track record of supplier onboarding, risk assessment, and supplier performance evaluation
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to establish procurement foundations and drive continuous improvement
  • Dutch or Polish fluency is a plus
