Job Description
Procurement Manager leading supplier consolidation, onboarding, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives for Avery Dennison’s global materials science business. Supporting procurement across Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
Responsibilities:
- Lead country procurement efforts to maximize supplier value and meet company objectives
- Provide procurement support across EU sites, specifically Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, and France
- Establish procurement foundations and optimize supplier relationships
- Consolidate the supplier base and standardize procurement processes
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers
- Lead commercial and contract negotiations with key vendors
- Secure optimal pricing, favorable payment terms, and strong contractual commitments
- Identify and capture procurement-driven growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business and operational needs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven professional experience in procurement management, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
- Experience within an international matrix environment
- Strong background in supplier base consolidation, contract negotiations, and cost-reduction strategies
- Track record of supplier onboarding, risk assessment, and supplier performance evaluation
- Fluency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to establish procurement foundations and drive continuous improvement
- Dutch or Polish fluency is a plus
