Job Description
Product Owner Manager at Veritas Automata responsible for managing product requirements and backlog. Leading cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software solutions in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and aligned to organizational goals.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Partner with engineering leads and Solution Architecture to validate technical feasibility and sequence work effectively.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and ensure accurate understanding of user needs.
- Drive continuous discovery with customers and internal teams to validate assumptions and identify improvements.
- Define success metrics, track product performance, and ensure delivery aligns with KPIs and business outcomes.
- Prepare clear documentation and stakeholder updates regarding roadmap progress, risks, and upcoming priorities.
- Maintain strong feedback loops with engineering, QA, design, and operations teams to improve product quality and user experience.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for assigned product areas and support cross‑team alignment.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or equivalent role in software delivery.
- Strong proficiency writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
- Demonstrated experience owning a product or major feature set end‑to‑end.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable steps.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical design, sequencing, and delivery alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced English level (written and spoken) to communicate effectively across global teams.
