Job Description

Project Accountant managing project accounting and billing processes for infrastructure consulting firm. Supporting Project Managers and ensuring accuracy in project financial setups and invoicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other modifications
  • Address overdue WIP and Accounts Receivables
  • Understand and interpret project contracts and billing terms
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings
  • Prepare and review Project setup modification forms
  • Train Project Accounting Assistant/Billers
  • Set up and review new project billing terms
  • Prepare and review final invoice package
  • Communicate project variances and resolution of issues
  • Review all sub-consultant invoices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3+ years project cost accounting experience
  • Experience in Architecture/Engineering consulting industry highly desired
  • Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects
  • Deltek Vision software knowledge is a plus
  • Prevailing Wage knowledge and experience a plus
  • Excellent 360-degree communication skills
  • Strong commitment to innovation and ethical standards
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse team
