Job Description
Directeur de projet Génie Côtier developing coastal engineering solutions for Egis while managing complex port projects and leading technical teams in France.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the coastal engineering and port development business
- Ensure technical and administrative coordination of projects
- Define and implement the development strategy for Coastal and Port Engineering activities
- Oversee studies and project delivery
- Manage complex projects end-to-end (planning, budget, quality, risk)
- Organize collaborative work, lead technical meetings, support skills development and team cohesion
- Develop relationships with clients (local authorities, State agencies, authorities, port authorities), technical partners and institutional stakeholders
- Contribute to regulatory and technical monitoring (Climate & Resilience Act - loi Climat & Résilience, GEMAPI, Ports Code - code des ports, Natura 2000)
- Represent the company in professional networks, working groups and sector events
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (Master’s level minimum) in civil engineering, coastal, maritime or port engineering
- At least fifteen years of experience managing port and coastal development projects, with managerial responsibilities
- Proven expertise in Civil and Coastal Engineering
- Strong project management skills and experience leading teams
- Leadership, strong organizational skills, ability to unite teams and make decisions
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
