Job Description
Project Manager overseeing engineering and technical support for energy transition projects at Hitachi Energy. Leading project execution, coordination with teams and customer interaction for substations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects
- Prepare bill of quantities for engineered items
- Serve as the technical lead for overall system design of offshore and onshore substations
- Develop power supply system architecture and perform sizing calculations
- Manage and lead all engineering activities of the project or tender
- Create work plans and cost estimates for engineering tasks
- Coordinate with internal and external partners and sub-suppliers
- Work closely with sales and tender management, project management, project site installation and commissioning teams
- Lead and attend discussions with customers
- Prepare specifications, check supplier offers, and coordinate with supply chain management
- Support risk assessments and report potential risks
- Coordinate activities for customer acceptance
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in power systems engineering
- Experience in utility/ industrial High & Medium Voltage substations
- Offshore experience required
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including knowledge in BIM
