Job Description
Project Manager overseeing mission-critical construction, commissioning, and turnover for SILTT’s global telecommunications and data center infrastructure. Managing regional teams, schedules, costs, quality, and risk.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary consultant to the client’s Regional Program Manager and direct manager to on-site Construction Managers
- Drive portfolio-wide Facility Ready milestones across complex infrastructure builds
- Connect regional program planning with field execution
- Conduct schedule and financial reviews, track critical path health, evaluate early-warning risks, and validate forecast handover dates
- Filter site-level metrics into actionable executive briefings
- Audit General Contractor payment applications, Early Warning Notices, and proposed Change Orders
- Resolve design RFIs, submittals, permitting bottlenecks, and other workflow issues
- Track Owner-Furnished Equipment and procurement lifecycles
- Direct, mentor, and deploy regional Construction Manager talent
- Resolve complex contractual disputes and trade boundary interfaces
- Monitor Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning sequences and enforce vendor and GC accountability
- Drive punch-list resolution and site transfers to Operations
- Oversee EHS compliance, field quality, project management system records, and QA/QC standards
- Attend regional or corporate offices approximately 2–3 times per year for strategic planning
- Perform site audits, Construction Manager support, executive stakeholder engagement, and milestone activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of direct project management experience delivering complex MEP-dense, heavy commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record auditing GC pay applications, evaluating change orders, and managing project-level risk
- Experience utilizing scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent
- Experience with cloud-based construction platforms
- Direct PM or Owner’s Representative experience on hyperscale data center builds or mission-critical infrastructure preferred
- 3+ years of direct, on-site Construction Manager experience leading field teams
- Direct working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred
- PMP and/or CSI credentials preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools or equivalent enterprise collaboration suites
- Comfortable managing cross-time-zone communications and aligning workflows with international teams and client schedules
- Ability to safely navigate active commercial/industrial construction sites, wear required PPE, and perform site assessments during environmental and commissioning testing
- Up to 25% regional and international travel required
