Job Description
Python Tooling Engineer building CI/CD, build tooling, and deployment solutions. Supporting large-scale agile projects at VirtusLab, a European software consulting and engineering company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver Python tooling solutions
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize software development lifecycle processes
- Work with deployment technologies and tooling including cloud, automation, containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD tools
- Contribute to large-scale agile projects within globally distributed teams
- Produce technical documentation and participate in business communication
Requirements:
- Advanced Python skills
- Advanced Git / GitHub Actions skills
- Regular proficiency with Terraform, Ansible or Kubernetes
- Regular proficiency with AWS or Azure
- Regular proficiency with Java, TypeScript or C#
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Python
- Proven track record delivering solutions around build tools
- Experience maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines
- Experience optimizing SDLC processes
- Practical experience with at least 3 of: Azure, AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, Containers, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
- Professional engagement in large-scale agile projects within globally distributed teams
- Strong communication capabilities and pragmatic technical problem-solving
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
