Job Description
Engenheiro Go desenvolvendo APIs e gateways de autenticação para a Stone, empresa brasileira de tecnologia e pagamentos. Garantindo segurança, alta disponibilidade e baixa latência em serviços financeiros críticos.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Go APIs and workers that make up the authentication gateway and request-routing layer for financial transactions
- Work on authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, certificates, IDP, SK)
- Maintain and enhance API Gateway plugins, ensuring end-to-end resilience and observability
- Ensure high availability, performance, and low latency in edge services handling high volumes of traffic
- Participate in the Kubernetes deployment lifecycle, observability, and incident response
- Document implemented changes
- Build and maintain production systems with performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, and resilience integrated across the application ecosystem
- Conduct code and documentation inspections
- Implement automated tests and CI/CD best practices
- Collaborate on architectural decisions, Code Reviews, and technical mentoring
Requirements:
- Challenge gaps in the architecture and development process and propose solutions
- Conduct code and documentation inspections
- Implement automated tests and apply CI/CD best practices
- Develop software in Go (5+ years of production experience, with a focus on highly critical services)
- Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and certificate management)
- Strong focus on security, including secrets management, encryption, and hardening of exposed APIs
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and deploying containerized applications
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL), non-relational databases (MongoDB), and distributed caching (Redis)
- Ability to collaborate with the team on architectural decisions, Code Reviews, and technical mentoring
- Experience with API Gateway architecture; experience with Kong is a plus
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache)
- Previous experience with GitOps tools and practices, including ArgoCD
- Knowledge of and interest in financial markets, payment systems, or payment methods
