Job Description
ERP Business Analyst role at RTX supporting the Corporate instance of S/4HANA with a focus on Payroll and Tax integrations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices
- Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations
- Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices
- Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing
- Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies
- Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program
- Sustainment support – Provide end-users assistance for issues related to SAP functionality, including troubleshooting and resolving errors
- System monitoring – Responsible for the integrations inbound and outbound and supporting any failures that may arise
- Travel requirement for this role will be 25 - 50% during the project roll out. Expected to reduce significantly there after.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Experience with finance processes including such as Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Project Accounting
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities, especially in the areas of FI-GL, FI-BL, FI-AA, Reporting and Profit center accounting
- Experience supporting SAP integrations, eg Tax engine and Workday/ADP
